This sterling silver and gemstone jewelry is hand-made in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal according to fair trade principles of a safe environment and a living wage. The factory employs approximately 75 craftsmen. The silversmiths are provided modern tools and training, and have a safe, well-lighted building in which to work. Most of the craftsmen are Nepali men from 18-55 years of age. Craftsmen are paid per piece, and in addition they have a saving plan, sick and vacation leave. In addition, housing and food is provided for a number of the families. We have been doing business with this company for over 30 years, and can personally vouch for their integrity and quality.

Our expanding jewelry line includes earrings, pendants, bracelets and necklaces using sterling silver and semi-precious stones, including rainbow moonstone, garnet, amythyst, labadorite, citrine, turquoise, amber, and more.
