This table-top metal prayer wheel is decorated on the outside with the eight auspicious symbols, while the inside is filled with thousands of repetitions of the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum written in an ancient Newari script. Prayer wheels can be placed on the corner of a desk, or on an altar. Spinning the prayer wheel clockwise creates merit and benefit as the mantras are released.
These traditional Buddhist prayer wheels are crafted in the Tibetan community in Kathmandu. All come packaged in an attractive blue hand-made Lokta paper box, with a gift card. They come in silver or copper, with brass.
